Barr + Wray have been appointed to design, deliver and install the 25m x 17m Myrtha Legacy Pool and associated filtration and water treatment system for this project. In addition to the main pool, B+W will also install a 17m x 7m Myrtha Learner Pool and associated filtration and water treatment system. Both filtration systems will benefit from medium rate sand filtration, ultra violet sterilisation, PH correction and chlorine disinfection.
This fantastic Leisure Village will also comprise of a four-court sports hall including, squash courts, a 60-station fitness suite, an aerobics studio and a new ground for Evo-Stik First Division North team, Scarborough Athletic Football Club.
Enabling works and demolition have already been completed and earthworks are in progress. It is anticipated that the construction will be completed in summer 2017.
