B + W are delighted to have been awarded the contract to design, supply, install and commission the 25m x 12.5m main pool and the 13m x 7m learner pool filtration and water treatment plants for Northfield Leisure Centre, Birmingham. Both filtration systems incorporate medium rate sand filtration, ultra violet sterilisation, automatic chlorine disinfection and PH correction.
This is another leisure centre which is being redeveloped as part of the Birmingham Community Leisure Trust’s redevelopment plan, following Erdington and Stechford leisure centres. Along with the two pools this centre will also comprise a fitness suite, a dance studio and a community room.
With work starting in November 2016, B+W will work alongside main contractor ISG to complete this £8m state of the art leisure centre, set to open in April 2018.
