Y Type Strainers

We supply a range of Vee Bee Y Type Strainers in varying sizes, materials and screen choices. Our principal manufacturer, Vee Bee, based in the UK, also have the capability of designing and manufacturing custom made 'specials' to suit most applications.
In addition to the basic materials, we supply Y types in a wide variety of exotic materials such as Monel, Inconel, Hastalloy C, Duplex stainless and other Alloy steels. These can all be supplied with a range of flanges, in accordance with all International Standards including ANSI, BS4504, BS10, and DIN specifications.
Vee Bee are increasingly aware of the problem of high differential pressure drops caused by some manufacturers reducing the size of their strainer bodies to save materials and cut costs. For this reason Vee Bee manufacture units with generous ratio of filtration area to pipe bore area to prevent flow restriction.
