Alongside modern educational facilities with the capacity for over 800 pupils, the new Lossiemouth Highschool will boast an array of amenities including; a community centre, library, swimming pool and artificial sports pitch
B+W are delighted to have been awarded the contract, working with Balfour Beatty as the Main Contractor, for the supply, install and commissioning of the 20m swimming pool within the new facility.
We will be responsible for the filtration water treatment plant as well as the pool construction which is being done using Myrtha technology – another one to add to our ever expanding Myrtha Pools portfolio!
With an opening date of summer 2020, Sonya Warren, chairwoman of the council’s children and young people’s committee, said: “It’s fantastic to see progress happening and the start of a new school being built in Lossiemouth that will provide education for the 21st Century.”
