B + W are delighted to be working on Bulmershe Leisure Centre in Wokingham, for Pellikaan Construction and Wokingham Borough Council. The new £14m centre will replace the old centre, which used to stand on the same site.
The centre includes a 25 metre 6 lane pool, a teaching pool with full movable floor gym, a large sports hall, studios and a café. It will benefit the whole community by providing up-to-date, accessible and flexible facilities, as well as preventative health services.
B + W are contracted for the design, supply and installation of the filtration water treatment for both pools.
Works are well underway, with the building topping out in July. The centre is due to open in summer 2020.
