B + W are thrilled to have started on site at Britannia Leisure Centre in Hackney. Morgan Sindall Construction have been appointed to deliver the new centre and public realm improvements under a £53.8m contract.
The state-of-the-art leisure complex with include a 25m 6 lane pool with moveable floor, 20x10m training pool with moveable floor, leisure pool and splash pad, with a play structure, water features and flume. The centre also has a Thermal Suite, café, sports halls, creche, soft play, fitness suites and four squash courts. There are even two tennis courts and two 5-a-side football pitches located on the roof of the building.
B + W are responsible for the design, supply and install the filtration water treatment plants, features hydraulics and both Variopool moveable floors.
The centre is due to complete in Spring 2021.
