B + W are delighted to be working on the new Alness Academy project for Hub North Scotland, Highland Council and Kier Construction as main contractors.
Construction is well underway on the £34 million project. The school will cater for 660 pupils and will have community facilities, including s six lane swimming pool, gym, two floodlit 3G pitches and a games hall.
B + W’s scope of supply includes a 25m 6 lane Myrtha pool, Variopool moveable floor that is the full length of the pool and the filtration water treatment plant.
The new school, which is being built on the site of the existing facility overlooking the Cromarty Firth, is due for completion in Spring 2020.
