Solids separation + settlement systems

A few of the technologies we can include within our treatment systems include:

DAF (Dissolved Air Floatation):
This technology uses chemicals for precipitation, solid removal and pH correct.  It is practical for food and dairy processes where COD/BOD are a consent concern.

Belt Thickener:
This technology uses a chemical addition to generate solids from effluent which drains through a moving belt allowing clean water through the weave and the solids developed taken away for disposal (generally 6%).

Belt Press:
This technology uses a chemical addition to generate solids from effluent which drains through and is squeezed to release as much water as possible without returning solids in filtrate. Any solids developed are taken away for disposal (generally excess 6%)

Drum Thickeners:
This technology uses a rotating drum that drains the water through an incline, where the chemical dose is added just before a flocculation chamber.  Clean water is then returned to head of works preferably with no solids in this filtrate.

Centrifuge:
This technology uses a high speed rotating system that gives the driest cake for transportation.

Settlement Pond:
In addition, we can advise on the use of simple pond systems that use chemicals to drop out solids from dirty water.  This is an ideal option used in construction and allows water to be cleaned before leaving site footprint.  We supply floc blocks to aid the clean-up of this dirty water.
