The new centre incorporates a 6-lane, 25m competition pool, learner pool complete with moveable floor and confidence pool. Also provided is a 9-court multi-purpose sports hall, 100 station fitness gym, 3 studios and an ice rink which can accommodate 6 curling rinks.

As part of our £1.5m contract with Barr Construction, B+W were responsible for construction and waterproofing of the pools, balance tanks and surrounds, pool tiling works, installation of the 3 no filtration and water treatment plants, backwash de-chlorination and ice plant heat recovery systems.

All pools have their own U.V. plant with the chlorine and Co2 being supplied to each system from bulk storage tanks.

In conjunction with our partners Malmsten and Klafs, we also supplied the Aqua Level screw-jack moveable floor within the learner pool and the sauna and steam facilities
located on pool side.
