The API 674 standard covers the minimum requirements for reciprocating positive displacement pumps for use in petroleum, chemical, and gas industry services.
Ram Pumps manufacture high quality, efficient and reliable Piston pumps. All pump units meet the requirements of the most demanding industry applications, environments and specifications as well as a core design basis for API 674 and Non API units. The full range of Ram pumps have been purposely designed without integral gearboxes to ensure they can provide the exact speed and power to meet the required duty point.
Suitably rated standard electric motors, special build or flame proof motors are selected in accordance with the client’s specification.
Special drives inclusive of DC Motors, Torque Converters from AC Inverters to Diesel, Petrol or Gas Engines, to variable capacity mechanical or hydraulic power packs are available.
Should a further transmission step down be required this can be provided by a gearbox, V-belt or timing belt drive.
