We are delighted to announce that B + W have been awarded the aquatic works package at the new Ponteland school and leisure development in Northumberland. Working alongside Kier Construction, we will provide a 25m 6-lane pool, learner pool and confidence water with play features. The pools will utilise Myrtha stainless steel technology and the learner pool will also benefit from a Variopool moveable floor.
This will be the most recent in a long line of projects we have delivered for Kier Construction utilising Myrtha technology. The development includes a 420-place primary school, a 1600-place high school, gym, climbing wall, soft play activities, outdoor sports fields, full size 3G pitch, café, library and community fire station.
Construction is due for completion for the start of the 2020/21 school year.
