B + W awarded Palazzo Versace, Macau

The Palazzo Versace will be one of two Fashion House Brands incorporated as part of the Grand Lisboa Palace Complex in Macau. This stunning development adds to the growing portfolio of hotels under the Versace Brand, with properties operational in Australia and Dubai.

Sited adjacent to the Macau Asian Games Dome, the Palazzo Versace comprises of 270 guestrooms and suites within a single 20 story tower.

On site facilities include Michelin-starred restaurants, retail mall, wedding pavilion, multi-purpose theatre and many more food and beverage outlets.

Commissioned by Sociedade De Jogos De Macau, the development incorporates the SJM branded Lisboa Palace and the Karl Lagerfeld Hotel, both of which have direct access to the 27,000 square metre gaming floor, housing around 700 tables, and 1,200 gaming machines.

B+W have been appointed to supply and install the wet spa facilities on site within separate male and female areas. These will include a sauna, steam room, ice fountain, VIP and spa suite steam showers along with an ozone treated vitality poolcomplete with water and air features. It is also believed to be the first property in Macau which will incorporate a Hammam as part of the general wet area.

B+W were awarded the contract for supply and install following our contract for the design works at an earlier stage of the project. This involved the interior design of the wet facilities and engineering design works for the pools and thermals.

This project is scheduled to open in 2018.
