The long awaited regeneration of the 43 acre Inknield Port Loop site in Birmingham is now underway.
This is the forth development to take place as part of the Birmingham Community Trust’s redevelopment plan, following Erdington, Stechford and Northfield Leisure Centres.
Having been involved in the design, supply, install and commissioning of the first three centres, B+W are delighted to have secured the contract for the IPL Leisure Centre.
We will be responsible for the filtration systems for the both the 25m, 8 lane competition pool and the learner pool.
With the centre opening as a ‘competition facility’ in line with Sport England standards it will also house a 250- capacity spectator seating area, a steam room, sauna, fitness suite and dance studio, alongside wet and dry changing facilities.
Due to be completed in summer 2018, B+W are delighted to be working alongside ISG on another state of the art leisure facility for Birmingham City Council.
